Two Powerful Paths. One Mission: Elevate Every Scholar.

At Beacon House of Hope, we believe every young person deserves access to transformative education, life skills, and leadership development — no matter their starting point. That’s why we offer two distinct, yet connected, pathways:

Beacon Scholars Academy (BSA)

For teen parents and youth in transition.

BSA is our full-time microschool serving up to 20 students annually. Specifically designed for teen parents and youth in foster care or facing instability, BSA offers a 9-month trauma-informed academic year that combines personalized education with life and parenting skills, emotional wellness, career exploration, and daily support — all in a nurturing, structured environment.

Why It Matters

Whether enrolled at BSA or participating through BSLDP, youth are empowered to step into their potential, develop tools for life and leadership, and become visible voices of hope and change. These programs reflect our unwavering belief:

Every youth has value. Every youth can lead.

“Two paths. One purpose. Whether enrolled in our academy or rising through leadership development, every young person deserves the chance to grow, lead, and build a life that reflects their full potential.”

The Orchid Project: Teen Edition

We don’t rush teens into marriage but we believe in the beauty of healthy, intentional partnership. That’s why we introduced a modified version of our healthy marriage initiative: The Orchid Project.

Because Healthy Relationships Start with You

The Teen Edition of The Orchid Project is a bold, honest, and age-appropriate relationship readiness experience designed specifically for teen parents and youth in transition. This isn’t about pushing early marriage — it’s about teaching teens how to build relationships rooted in self-awareness, emotional safety, communication, boundaries, and mutual respect.

Through interactive sessions, real-life scenarios, and reflective practices, participants explore what it means to:

  • Love yourself first
  • Set and honor boundaries
  • Identify red and green flags
  • Communicate needs and resolve conflict
  • Make healthy choices in love, parenting, and partnership

Whether preparing for future relationships or navigating co-parenting now, teens leave with the tools to protect their peace, preserve their future, and prioritize their growth.

When teens learn to love wisely, they lead powerfully.

The Orchid Project: Teen Edition plants the seeds for relational wellness and personal confidence that lasts a lifetime.
